Metal, wood, fibreglass, and durable plastic structural materials
Wiring and incandescent light fixtures that do not contain fluorescent tubing/lighting
Toilets, bathtubs, wash basins and plumbing fixtures
Floor coverings attached to a building during demolition
Broken and aged asphalt or chip seal pavement
Any mixture of the above as well as any other inert material approved by the Department that has been obtained during the construction, renovation or demolition of a building or structure.
MATERIALS NOT ACCEPTED:
Burnt C&D debris (see above for C&D debris descriptions)
Cans, drums, or other packages (empty or otherwise) of roofing adhesives, tar, or waterproofing compounds
Cans, drums, or other packages (empty or otherwise) of asphalt sealers, adhesives, tar or waterproofing compounds or new asphalt product
Wastes or other materials obtained from commercial, industrial and manufacturing sources
Debris from a building that has, or may have, manufactured, contained, transferred, or distributed contaminated or hazardous products (such as pesticides from a storage warehouse)
Debris that contains PCB’s (polychlorinated biphenyls)
Debris that contains lead paint of a known concentration greater than 1000ppm (parts per million), or that has been deemed lead leachable toxic (exceed 5mg/L) or contains lead paint that is flaking/chipping/peeling
Waste or debris that originates from outside of the Province of New Brunswick unless specifically approved by the Department, following an evaluation under “Environmental Impact Assessment Regulation – Clean Environment Act”
Any debris not listed under the acceptable C&D debris list
