Halifax C&D began the province’s first and only tire recycling facility in Nova Scotia.
The facility does not accept or collect used tires directly from the public.
A contract exists with the Resource Recovery Fund Board (RRFB) to process all of Nova Scotia’s used tires into a valuable shredded tire product known as Tire Derived Aggregate (TDA).
